Excellent!! Best greek food in San Diego. I use to work in the area for 18 years & would go here regularly. 14 years later we went back to the area to go to the hospital nearby & the food was a good as we'd remembered it. Same waiter & environment! We will stop in again this afternoon for another culinary indulgence.

Great food at the best prices for Mediterranean. Hard place to park so I usually just pick up.

This place hs good reviews for a reason! They have different menus for lunch and dinner. They also have a lunch specials. 1. Spanakopita platter - came with a huge spinach and cheese pie, salad, pita and tzatziki sauce, this was a super hit with my group. Ordered it twice. 2. Falafel platter - came with a 5 falafels, salad, pita and tzatziki sauce, the falafel was not great, but was not bad at all! 3. Hummus - i have had better hummus, nonetheless it was good. The portions are huge for the prices. There's almost no place left that can give you such good quantity and taste for the price they are charging. It's a a steal deal. PS: was too hungry to take pictures

This place is dismal, but makes up for the lackluster ambiance with good food. I had a craving for Mediterranean food and was delighted by the vegetarian mousakka. It was layers of eggplant and zucchini topped with a creamy béchamel sauce. It was satisfying comfort food. My dinner came with rice and salad. The portions were large without being pricey. Service was quick. There were only two people working behind the counter. The server was stressed which was understandable since the small restaurant was starting to fill up and there were also customers calling in orders. If you are looking for a good value and aren't interested in pomp and circumstance, then this place is worth making a stop for if you're in Hillcrest.
